Gadāyuddhe Kṛṣṇopadeśaḥ (Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel in the Mace-Duel) — Śalya-parva 57
स भूय: शुशुभे पार्थस्ताडितो गदया रणे । उद्धिन्नरुधिरो राजन् प्रभिन्न इव कुज्जर:
sa bhūyaḥ śuśubhe pārthas tāḍito gadayā raṇe | uddhinnarudhiraḥ rājan prabhinna iva kuñjaraḥ ||
సంజయుడు పలికెను—ఓ రాజా, రణంలో గదతో మళ్లీ తాకబడినప్పటికీ పార్థుడు మరింత ప్రకాశించెను. అతని దేహం నుండి రక్తం పొంగి ప్రవహించెను; భేదింపబడిన మదగజంలా అతడు దీప్తిమంతుడై కనిపించెను.
