Educational Q&A

The verse frames Arundhatī’s life as a moral exemplar: steadfast dharma expressed through purity of conduct, fidelity, and integrity. It also implies that divine instruction is not merely doctrinal—Śiva validates ethical ideals by revealing his form and then teaching through an exemplary narrative.

After speaking, Śiva (Hara) manifests his divine form before the assembled sages. He then addresses them and begins (or continues) a detailed account of Arundhatī’s great conduct, presenting her story as an instructive model.
