गदायुद्धप्रतिज्ञा — The Vow and Terms of the Mace Duel
सूच्यग्रं नात्यज: पूर्व स कथं त्यजसि क्षितिम् | एवमैश्वर्यमासाद्य प्रशास्यथ पृथिवीमिमाम्
sūcyagraṁ nātyajaḥ pūrvaṁ sa kathaṁ tyajasi kṣitim | evamaiśvaryam āsādya praśāsyatha pṛthivīm imām ||
యుధిష్ఠిరుడు అన్నాడు—“మునుపు నీవు సూది మొన కూడా వదలేవాడివి; మరి ఇప్పుడు ఈ భూమినే ఎలా వదులుతున్నావు? ఇంత ఐశ్వర్యం పొందిన తరువాత ఈ భూమినే పాలించి రక్షించాలి.”
