उक्तो5हं बहुशस्तात विदुरेण महात्मना । न जीवन दास्यते भागं धार्तराष्ट्रस्तु मानद

Transliteration

ukto ’haṃ bahuśas tāta vidureṇa mahātmanā | na jīvan dāsyate bhāgaṃ dhārtarāṣṭras tu mānada ||

Translation

సంజయుడు అన్నాడు—“తాత! మహాత్ముడు విదురుడు నాకు ఎన్నోసార్లు చెప్పాడు—‘మానదా! ధృతరాష్ట్రుని కుమారుడు దుర్యోధనుడు బ్రతికివున్నంతవరకు రాజ్యంలోని ఏ భాగాన్నీ ఇవ్వడు.’”
