न युक्तमेतत् समरे त्वयि तिष्ठति भारत । “भारत! हमलोगोंके देखते-देखते मद्रदेशकी यह सेना क्यों मारी जाती है? तुम्हारे रहते ऐसा कदापि नहीं होना चाहिये
na yuktam etat samare tvayi tiṣṭhati bhārata |
భారతా! నీవు సమరంలో స్థిరంగా నిలిచి ఉండగా ఇది తగదు. మనం చూస్తుండగానే మద్రదేశ సైన్యం ఎలా నశించాలి? నీవు ఉన్నంతవరకు ఇది ఎప్పటికీ జరగకూడదు.
