Śalya-hatānantarāṇi: Madrarāja-padānugānāṃ praskandana and the Pandava counter-encirclement (शल्यहतानन्तराणि—मद्रराजपदानुगानां प्रस्कन्दनम्)
त॑ परे नाभ्यवर्तन्त मर्त्या मृत्युमिवागतम्
taṁ pare nābhyavartanta martyā mṛtyum ivāgatam
సంజయుడు పలికెను—ప్రతివీరులు అతని సమీపానికి చేరడానికి ధైర్యం చేయలేదు; అతడు వారి ముందుకు వచ్చిన మృత్యువులా కనిపించాడు. యుద్ధోన్మాదంలో ఒకే మహావీరుడు అనివార్య ఫలితాన్ని ప్రతిబింబించినప్పుడు, అనుభవజ్ఞుల సంకల్పమూ కంపిస్తుంది.
