एकव्स्त्रा प्ररुदती मुक्तकेशी रजस्वला । शोणितेनाक्तवसना द्रौपदी वाक्यमब्रवीत्,द्रौपदीके शरीरपर एक ही वस्त्र था, उसके बाल खुले हुए थे, वह रजस्वला थी और उसके कपड़ोंमें रक्त (रज)-का दाग लगा हुआ था, उसने रोते हुए यह बात कही थी

విదురుడు పలికెను— ద్రౌపది ఒక్క వస్త్రమే ధరించి, విలపిస్తూ, జుట్టు విప్పి, రజస్వలగా, రక్తమచ్చలతో మలినమైన వస్త్రాలతో సభామధ్యంలో ఈ మాటలు పలికింది. ఇది ధర్మానికి ఘోర అవమానం—రాజసభలో స్త్రీగౌరవం భంగం చేయబడగా, సభ అధర్మానికి సాక్షిగా నిలిచింది.
