द्रौपहयुवाच कथं त्वेवं वदसि प्रातिकामिन् को हि दीव्येद् भार्यया राजपुत्र: । मूढो राजा द्यूतमदेन मत्तो हाभून्नान्यत् कैतवमस्य किंचित्
drauapady uvāca kathaṃ tv evaṃ vadasi prātikāmin ko hi dīvyed bhāryayā rājaputraḥ | mūḍho rājā dyūtamadena matto hābhūn nānyat kaitavam asya kiṃcit ||
ద్రౌపది అన్నది—ప్రాతికామిన్! నీవు ఇలా ఎలా అంటావు? ఏ రాజకుమారుడు తన భార్యను పణంగా పెట్టి పాశక్రీడ ఆడతాడు? రాజా యుధిష్ఠిరుడు పాశమత్తులో అంతగా మూర్ఖుడై, ఇవ్వడానికి మరేదీ మిగలలేదా? ఇది కేవలం మోసమే.
