प्रविवेश गृहं राज्ञो धृतराष्ट्रस्य धीमत: । ददर्श तत्र गान्धारीं देवीं पतिमनुव्रताम्‌

praviveśa gṛhaṃ rājño dhṛtarāṣṭrasya dhīmataḥ | dadarśa tatra gāndhārīṃ devīṃ patimanuvratām ||

అతడు జ్ఞానవంతుడైన రాజు ధృతరాష్ట్రుని నివాసంలో ప్రవేశించాడు. అక్కడ అతడు పతివ్రత అయిన దేవి గాంధారిని దర్శించాడు—ఆమె భర్తకు అనువ్రతగా నిలిచినది।
