Omens Observed and the Hearing of the Vṛṣṇi Destruction

Educational Q&A

Even the mightiest clans can fall through internal discord; when the supports of one’s world collapse, dharma requires sober deliberation, collective counsel, and readiness to act without attachment to fading power.

News reaches Yudhiṣṭhira that the Vṛṣṇis have annihilated one another in a great fight (with the ‘musalā’ as the occasion), while Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma alone remain; he gathers his brothers to decide their next course.
