Karna’s Suppression of the Panchala–Somaka Forces
तद् युद्धमासीत् सुमहद् घोररूपं परंतप । यादृशं न मया युद्ध दृष्टपूर्व विशाम्पते
tad yuddham āsīt sumahad ghorarūpaṃ paraṃtapa | yādṛśaṃ na mayā yuddha dṛṣṭapūrvaṃ viśāmpate ||
సంజయుడు పలికెను—ఓ పరంతపా! ఆ యుద్ధం అత్యంత విస్తారమై భయంకరరూపాన్ని దాల్చింది. ఓ ప్రజానాథా! ఇలాంటి యుద్ధాన్ని నేను ఇంతకు ముందు ఎప్పుడూ చూడలేదు.
