लोहितस्य तु गन्धेन स्पर्शेन च रसेन च । रूपेण चातिरक्तेन शब्देन च विसर्पता
lohitasya tu gandhena sparśena ca rasena ca | rūpeṇa cātirakteṇa śabdena ca visarpatā
సంజయుడు పలికెను—రక్తపు వాసనతో, దాని స్పర్శతో మరియు రుచితో, అతిగా ఎర్రని దాని రూపంతో, అలాగే అది వ్యాపించి ప్రవహించుచున్న శబ్దంతో—యుద్ధభూమి అంతటా రక్తపాత సూచనలు పరచుకున్నట్లు అనిపించెను.
