Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 96: Sātyaki’s Line-Penetration, Encirclement, and Advance toward Arjuna
संजय उवाच एवमुकक््त्वा त्वरन् द्रोण: स्पृष्टवाम्भा वर्म भास्वरम् । आबबन्धाद्भुततमं जपन् मन्त्र यथाविधि
sañjaya uvāca evam uktvā tvaran droṇaḥ spṛṣṭvāmbhā varma bhāsvaram | ābabandhādbhutatamaṃ japan mantraṃ yathāvidhi ||
సంజయుడు పలికెను—ఓ రాజా! ఇలా చెప్పి ద్రోణుడు తక్షణమే త్వరిస్తూ, ఆచమనం చేసి, విధిపూర్వకంగా మంత్రజపం చేస్తూ (దుర్యోధనుని) శరీరంపై అత్యంత ప్రకాశవంతమైన, అద్భుతమైన కవచాన్ని బిగించాడు—తన విద్యాబలంతో అందరినీ ఆశ్చర్యపరచాలని, ఆ మహాయుద్ధంలో నీ కుమారునికి విజయాన్ని కలిగించాలని కోరుతూ.
