शिरोभशि: पातितैस्तत्र भूमिरासीज्निरन्तरा | अभ्रच्छायेव चैवासीदू ध्वाड्क्षगृभ्रबलैर्युधि
sañjaya uvāca | śirobhiḥ pātitais tatra bhūmir āsīn nirantarā | abhracchāyeva caivāsīd dhvāṅkṣa-gṛdhra-balair yudhi |
సంజయుడు పలికెను—అక్కడ పడిపోయిన తలలతో భూమి ఎక్కడా ఖాళీ లేకుండా నిండిపోయింది; యుద్ధస్థలంలో కాకులు, గద్దల గుంపులు చేరడంతో అది మేఘఛాయలా కనిపించింది।
