Abhimanyu’s Prowess and the Duḥśāsana Engagement
वासुदेवादुपात्तं यदस्त्रं यच्च धनंजयात् | अदर्शयत तत् कार्ष्णि: कृष्णाभ्यामविशेषवत्,भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण तथा अर्जुनसे अभिमन्युने जो-जो अस्त्र प्राप्त किये थे, उनका उन्हीं दोनोंकी भाँति वह युद्धस्थलमें प्रदर्शन करने लगा
vāsudevād upāttaṃ yad astraṃ yac ca dhanañjayāt | adarśayat tat kārṣṇiḥ kṛṣṇābhyām aviśeṣavat ||
వాసుదేవుడు శ్రీకృష్ణుని నుండి, ధనంజయుడు అర్జునుని నుండి అభిమన్యుడు పొందిన ఏ ఏ అస్త్రాలున్నాయో, వాటన్నిటినీ కార్ష్ణి (అభిమన్యుడు) యుద్ధభూమిలో ఏ భేదమూ లేకుండా ప్రదర్శించాడు—అతడు కృష్ణార్జునులకే సమానుడన్నట్లుగా.
