ततः: पुनर्दक्षिणत: संग्रामश्चित्रयोधिनाम्
tataḥ punar dakṣiṇataḥ saṅgrāmaś citrayodhinām
సంజయుడు అన్నాడు—తర్వాత మళ్లీ దక్షిణ భాగంలో విభిన్నమైన, విశిష్ట పరాక్రమం గల యోధుల మధ్య ఘోర సంగ్రామం చెలరేగింది. యుద్ధ ప్రవాహం ఒక దిక్కు నుంచి మరో దిక్కుకు మారుతూ, అన్ని పక్షాలను నిరంతరం రణధర్మపు కఠినతలోనూ నైతిక ఒత్తిడిలోనూ మరింత లోతుకు లాగింది.
