पाण्डुनन्दन युधिष्ठिरके हितके लिये प्रयत्न करनेवाले भरतवंशी महारथी शूरवीर युयुत्सुको सुबाहुने प्रयत्नपूर्वक द्रोणाचार्यकी ओर आनेसे रोक दिया ।।

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

pāṇḍunandana yudhiṣṭhirake hitake liye prayatna karanevāle bharatavaṃśī mahārathī śūravīra yuyutsuko subāhunā prayatnapūrvaka droṇācāryakī ora ānese rok diyā ||

subāhoḥ sa dhanurbāṇāv asyataḥ parighopamau |

yuyutsuḥ śitapītābhyāṃ kṣurābhyām acchinad bhujī ||

Translation

సంజయుడు పలికెను— పాండునందన యుధిష్ఠిరుని హితార్థం యత్నించు భరతవంశ మహారథి శూరుడు యుయుత్సుడు, ద్రోణాచార్యుని వైపు దూసుకొచ్చిన సుభాహువును జాగ్రత్తగా అడ్డుకున్నాడు. పరీఘసమ బలముగల సుభాహువు ధనుర్బాణములు విడిచెను; అప్పుడు యుయుత్సుడు తెలుపు-పసుపు వర్ణములైన రెండు క్షురబాణములతో అతని రెండు భుజములను తెగదెంపెను.
