शरं कालाग्निसंयुक्त विष्णुसोमसमायुतम् । उस समय दानव उन नगरोंकी ओर और कालाग्निसे संयुक्त एवं विष्णु तथा सोमकी शक्तिसे सम्पन्न उस बाणकी ओर भी आँख उठाकर देख न सके
śaraṃ kālāgnisaṃyuktaṃ viṣṇusomasamāyutam |
ఆ సమయంలో కాలాగ్నితో సంయుక్తమై, విష్ణు మరియు సోమ శక్తులతో సమన్వితమైన ఆ బాణం అంతటి తేజస్సుతో ప్రకాశించగా, దానవులు ఆ నగరాల వైపుకూడా, ఆ దగ్ధమయ్యే శరాన్ని చూచుటకూడా కన్నెత్తలేకపోయారు।
