ज्वलन्तं शूलमुद्रम्य यां दिशं प्रतिपद्यते । तस्यां दिशि विदीर्यन्ते शत्रवों मे महामुने,महामुने! वे जलता हुआ शूल हाथमें लेकर जिस ओर जाते उसी दिशामें मेरे शत्रु विदीर्ण हो जाते थे

Transliteration

arjuna uvāca | jvalantaṁ śūlam udyamya yāṁ diśaṁ pratipadyate | tasyāṁ diśi vidīryante śatravo me mahāmune ||

Translation

అర్జునుడు అన్నాడు—ఓ మహామునీ! అతడు మండుతున్న శూలాన్ని ఎత్తుకొని ఏ దిశగా సాగితే, ఆ దిశలోనే నా శత్రువులు చీలిపోయి చిద్రమైపోయేవారు. అతనితో కదిలే ఆ అప్రతిహత బలంతో యుద్ధప్రవాహం మారిపోయేది; అధర్ములు దైవతేజస్సు ముందు కూలినట్టే పడిపోయేవారు.
