व्यास उवाच महान्तमेवमथ मां यं त्वं पृष्छसि विस्मयात्‌ । त॑ प्रवक्ष्यामि ते सर्व समाधाय मन: शृणु

Transliteration

vyāsa uvāca mahāntam evam atha māṃ yaṃ tvaṃ pṛcchasi vismayāt | taṃ pravakṣyāmi te sarvaṃ samādhāya manaḥ śṛṇu ||

Translation

వ్యాసుడు పలికెను—నీవు ఆశ్చర్యంతో నన్ను అడుగుతున్న విషయం నిజంగా మహత్తరమైనది. దానిని నీకు సంపూర్ణంగా వివరిస్తాను; మనస్సును స్థిరపరచుకొని ఏకాగ్రంగా విను.
