Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

kāmaḥ sampadyatām asya bībhatsor āśu māṃ prati |

kalyāṇavṛttir ācāryo mayā yudhi nipātitaḥ ||

Translation

బీభత్సు (అర్జునుడు) నాపై కలిగిన కోరిక త్వరగా నెరవేరుగాక; ఎందుకంటే కల్యాణవృత్తి గల ఆచార్యుడిని నేను యుద్ధంలో పడగొట్టాను.
