कि तदा न निहंस्येनं भूत्वा पुरुषसत्तम: । जिस समय पराक्रमी भूरिश्रवा तुझे लातसे मारकर धरतीपर घसीट रहे थे, तू बड़ा श्रेष्ठ पुरुष था, तो उसी समय उन्हें क्यों नहीं मार डाला?

ki tadā na nihanyenam bhūtvā puruṣasattamaḥ |

నీవు నిజంగా పురుషసత్తముడవైతే, అప్పుడు అతన్ని ఎందుకు వధించలేదు? పరాక్రమశాలి భూరిశ్రవుడు నిన్ను తన్నుతూ నేలపై లాగుతూ ఉన్న వేళ, నీవు అతన్ని ఆ క్షణమే ఎందుకు చంపలేదు?
