Transliteration

bhīmasenapurogāś cāpy ekataḥ paryavārayan | eka orase pāñcālā vīrā tīkṣṇabāṇaiḥ droṇācāryaṃ mārayituṃ pracakramuḥ, anyataś ca bhīmasenādayo vīrās taṃ parivārya tiṣṭhanti sma |

Translation

సంజయుడు పలికెను—భీమసేనుని ముందుంచి ఒక వైపు నుండి వీరులు ద్రోణుని చుట్టుముట్టిరి; మరొక వైపు నుండి పాంచాల వీరులు పదునైన బాణాలను వర్షింపజేసి ద్రోణాచార్యుని సంహరించుటకు దాడి చేసిరి. ఈ విధంగా ఆయన ఒకేసారి దాడికి గురై చుట్టుముట్టబడెను.
