तदपश्यद्हृृषीकेश: पाण्डवानां हिते रत: । स भीमसेनरक्षार्थ हैडिम्बिं पर्यचोदयत्‌,पाण्डवोंके हितमें तत्पर रहनेवाले भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्णने जब वह युद्ध देखा, तब भीमसेनकी रक्षाके लिये हिडिम्बाकुमार घटोत्कचको भेजा

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | tad apaśyad hṛṣīkeśaḥ pāṇḍavānāṃ hite rataḥ | sa bhīmasena-rakṣārthaṃ haiḍimbīṃ paryacodayat |

Translation

సంజయుడు అన్నాడు—పాండవుల హితంలో నిత్యం నిమగ్నుడైన హృషీకేశుడు శ్రీకృష్ణుడు ఆ పరిస్థితిని చూసి, భీమసేనుని రక్షించుటకు హిడింబి కుమారుడు ఘటోత్కచుని తక్షణమే కార్యప్రవృత్తుడిగా చేశాడు।
