विद्धश्न बहुभिस्तेन शरैराशीविषोपमै: । ततो युधिष्ठिरानीकं पद्धयामेवान्वपद्यत

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | viddhaś ca bahubhis tena śarair āśīviṣopamaiḥ | tato yudhiṣṭhirānīkaṃ paddhyām evānvapadyata |

Translation

అప్పుడు కర్ణుడు విషసర్పసమానమైన భయంకరమైన అనేక బాణాలతో అతనిని గాయపరచి చీల్చివేశాడు. ఆపై అతడు కాలినడకనే యుధిష్ఠిరుని సేనావ్యూహంలోకి ప్రవేశించాడు।
