शरधारास्त्रपवनां भुशं शीतोष्णसंकुलाम्‌ । घोरां विस्मापनीमुग्रां जीवितच्छिदमप्लवाम्‌

Transliteration

śaradhārāstrapavanāṁ bhuśaṁ śītoṣṇasaṅkulām | ghorāṁ vismāpanīm ugrāṁ jīvitacchidam aplavām ||

Translation

సంజయుడు పలికెను—అక్కడ బాణధారలు, ఆయుధపవనము ఉప్పొంగెను—అత్యంత ఉగ్రంగా, శీత-ఉష్ణాల అతిरेकములతో కలిసినదై; అది ఘోరము, ఆశ్చర్యకరము, భయంకరము—జీవితమునే ఛేదించునది, రక్షణకు దాటించు ఆశ్రయం ఏదియు లేనిది।
