अलंबलवधः (Alaṃbala-vadhaḥ) / The Slaying of Alaṃbala and the Advance toward Karṇa
स तथा शरवर्षाभ्यां सुमहद्भ्यां महाभुज: । पीड्यमान: परामार्तिमगमद् रथिनां वर:,इस प्रकार दो दिशाओंसे होनेवाली उस भारी बाणवर्षसे पीड़ित हो रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ महाबाहु अर्जुन अत्यन्त व्यथित हो उठे
sa tathā śaravarṣābhyāṃ sumahadbhyāṃ mahābhujaḥ | pīḍyamānaḥ parāmārtim agamad rathināṃ varaḥ ||
రెండు దిశల నుండి కురిసిన ఆ మహా శరవర్షంతో పీడింపబడిన రథికులలో శ్రేష్ఠుడైన మహాబాహు అర్జునుడు పరమ వ్యథకు లోనయ్యాడు।
