तस्य तल्लाघवं दृष्ट्वा द्रोण: क्षत्रियमर्दन: । व्यसृजत्‌ सायकांस्तूर्ण शतशो5थ सहस्रश:,उसकी वह फुर्ती देखकर क्षत्रियोंका संहार करनेवाले द्रोणाचार्यने शीघ्र ही उसपर सैकड़ों और सहस्रों बाणोंकी वर्षा आरम्भ कर दी

Transliteration

tasya tallāghavaṁ dṛṣṭvā droṇaḥ kṣatriyamardanaḥ | vyasṛjat sāyakāṁs tūrṇaṁ śataśo ’tha sahasraśaḥ ||

Translation

అతని ఆ చురుకుదనాన్ని చూచి, క్షత్రియమర్దనుడైన ద్రోణుడు వెంటనే వందలుగా, ఆపై వేలుగా బాణాలను విడిచెను.
