Adhyāya 113: Karṇa–Bhīma Śaravarṣa and the Battlefield Aftermath (कर्णभीमशरवर्षः)
तस्मै त्वां विसूजेयं वै स त्वां रक्षेद् यथार्जुन: । “यदि कामदेवके अवतार श्रीकृष्णकुमार प्रद्युम्न यहाँ हाथमें धनुष लेकर खड़े होते तो उन्हें मैं आपको सौंप देता। वे अर्जुनके समान ही आपकी रक्षा कर सकते थे
tasmai tvāṁ visūjeyaṁ vai sa tvāṁ rakṣed yathārjunaḥ |
సంజయుడు అన్నాడు—నిజంగా నేను మిమ్మల్ని అతనికి అప్పగించేవాడిని; అతడు అర్జునునిలా మిమ్మల్ని రక్షించగలడు. శ్రీకృష్ణకుమారుడు ప్రద్యుమ్నుడు ధనుస్సుతో ఇక్కడ నిలిచివుంటే, మిమ్మల్ని అతని సంరక్షణకే అప్పగించేవాడిని; అతడు అర్జునుని సమానంగా మీ రక్షణకు సమర్థుడు.
