अजुन उवाच द्रोणेनैषा मति: कृष्ण धार्तराष्ट्रे निवेशिता । अभेद्या हि ममास्त्राणामेषा कवचधारणा

arjuna uvāca

droṇenaiṣā matiḥ kṛṣṇa dhārtarāṣṭre niveśitā |

abhedyā hi mamāstrāṇām eṣā kavacadhāraṇā ||

na śakyam etat kavacaṁ bāṇair bhartuṁ kathaṁcana |

api vajreṇa govinda svayaṁ maghavatā yudhi ||

అర్జునుడు పలికెను—కృష్ణా! ద్రోణుడు ఈ యుక్తిని ధృతరాష్ట్రపుత్రునిలో నాటాడు. అతడు ధరించిన ఈ కవచధారణ నా అస్త్రాలకు అభేద్యము. ఏ విధంగానూ బాణములతో ఈ కవచాన్ని చీల్చుట సాధ్యము కాదు; గోవిందా! యుద్ధమున స్వయంగా మఘవా ఇంద్రుడుకూడా తన వజ్రముతో దీనిని విరిచివేయలేడు।
