The Tumult of Battle Described
न तत्र कश्रिन्नविषण्ण आसी- दृते राजन् सोमदत्तस्य पुत्रात् । स वै समादाय थधनुर्महात्मा भूरिश्रवा भारत सौमदत्ति:
na tatra kaścidnaviṣaṇṇa āsīd ṛte rājan somadattasya putrāt | sa vai samādāya tad dhanum mahātmā bhūriśravā bhārata saumadattiḥ ||
సంజయుడు పలికెను—రాజా! సోమదత్తుని కుమారుని తప్ప అక్కడ విషాదగ్రస్తుడు కాని యోధుడు ఎవడూ లేడు. భారతా! మహాత్ముడైన సౌమదత్తి భూరిశ్రవుడు ధనుస్సు ఎత్తుకొని దృఢనిశ్చయంతో ముందుకు సాగెను.
