The Tumult of Battle Described
योधास्त्वदीया: शरवर्षैरवर्षन् मेघा यथा भूधरमम्बुवेगै: । तथापि त॑ धारयितुं न शेकु- मध्यन्दिने सूर्यमिवातपन्तम्
yodhās tvadīyāḥ śaravarṣair avarṣan meghā yathā bhūdharam ambuvegaiḥ | tathāpi taṃ dhārayituṃ na śekuḥ madhyandine sūryam ivātapantam ||
సంజయుడు పలికెను—మీ యోధులు అతనిపై బాణవర్షాన్ని కురిపించారు; మేఘాలు పర్వతంపై వేగంగా జలధారలను కురిపించినట్లే. అయినా వారు అతనిని ఆపలేకపోయారు; అతడు యుద్ధమధ్యాహ్న సూర్యుని వలె దహించుచు, నిర్బంధములేక సంచరించెను.
