अविध्यदेनं दशभि: पृषत्कै- रलम्बुषो राक्षस5सौ तदानीम्‌ | शरैश्नतुर्भि: प्रतिविद्धय तं च नप्ता शिनेरभ्यपतद्‌ रथेन

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

avidhyad enaṃ daśabhiḥ pṛṣatkaiḥ

alambuṣo rākṣasaḥ sa tadānīm |

śaraiś caturbhiḥ pratividdhya taṃ ca

naptā śiner abhyapatad rathena ||

Translation

ఆ సమయంలో అలంబుష అనే రాక్షసుడు అతనిని పది బాణాలతో గాయపరిచెను. శినివంశపు మనవడైన అతడు కూడా ఆ రాక్షసుని నాలుగు బాణాలతో ఛేదించి ప్రతీకారం తీర్చుకొని రథంపై దూకి దాడికి పరిగెత్తెను।
