Chapter 55: Bhīṣma’s onslaught, Arjuna’s counter, and Kṛṣṇa’s raised discus
विदर्भमेकलैश्नैव कर्णप्रावरणैरपि । सहिता: सर्वसैन्येन भीष्ममाहवशोभिनम्
vidarbham ekalaiśnaiva karṇaprāvaraṇair api | sahitāḥ sarvasainyena bhīṣmam āhavaśobhinam ||
వారు విదర్భ దిశగా ముందుకు సాగిరి—మేకల దేశ యోధులతో కూడి, కర్ణ-ప్రావరణములు తదితర రక్షణోపకరణములతో సన్నద్ధులై; సమస్త సైన్యంతో కలిసి, యుద్ధశోభతో ప్రకాశించే భీష్ముని అగ్రభాగమున నిలిపి।
