Bhīṣma–Karṇa Saṃvāda on the Śaraśayyā (भीष्म–कर्ण संवादः शरशय्यायाम्)
विव्यधुर्निशितैर्बाणै रुक्मपुड्खैरजिद्दागै: । इसी प्रकार अन्य शूरवीर महारथियोंने भीमसेन और अर्जुनको सुवर्णपंखयुक्त, सीधे जानेवाले पैने बाणोंद्वारा बींध डाला
vivyadhur niśitair bāṇai rukmapuḍkhair ajiddāgaiḥ |
సంజయుడు అన్నాడు—వారు బంగారు రెక్కలతో, నేరుగా దూసుకెళ్లే పదునైన బాణాలతో భీమసేనుని మరియు అర్జునుని వేదించారు. యుద్ధోన్మాదంలో మహారథులకూ ఆయుధబలపు నిరంతర దెబ్బలు తప్పవు; ధైర్యం, సహనం ద్వారానే వీరత్వం పరీక్షించబడుతుంది.
