आर्याश्न पृथिवीपाला: प्रहृष्टनरवाहना: । समीयु: पाण्डुपुत्रेण बहवो युद्धदुर्मदा:

Transliteration

āryāś ca pṛthivīpālāḥ prahṛṣṭa-nara-vāhanāḥ | samīyuḥ pāṇḍu-putreṇa bahavo yuddha-durmadāḥ ||

Translation

వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—అనేక ఆర్య భూపాలులు, ఉల్లాసభరితులై తమ నర-వాహనాలతో కూడి, యుద్ధోన్మాద గర్వంతో మదించినవారై, పాండుపుత్రునితో కలిసి వచ్చిరి.
