तेषामन्योन्यसम्मर्दादूष्मेपत समजायत । दिदृक्षूणां हयं तं च तं चैव हयसारिणम्,यज्ञके घोड़े और उसके पीछे जानेवाले अर्जुनको देखनेकी इच्छासे लोगोंकी इतनी भीड़ इकट्टी हो गयी थी कि आपसकी धक्का-मुक्कीसे सबके बदनमें पसीने निकल आये
teṣām anyonya-sammardād ūṣmepata samajāyata | didṛkṣūṇāṁ hayaṁ taṁ ca taṁ caiva haya-sāriṇam ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—యజ్ఞాశ్వాన్ని, అలాగే దాని వెంబడి సాగుతున్న అశ్వారూఢుడైన అర్జునుని చూడాలనే తపనతో జనసమూహం గుమికూడి, పరస్పర తోపులాటల వల్ల అందరి దేహాలపై చెమట పొంగెను.
