వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—ఆ సమయంలో ఆ విప్రవరు ఆ రెండు కుండలములను మృగచర్మముపై బిగించి యుంచెను. అతని చూపు కేవలం లతలపైనే నిలిచెను; కోసిన లతలు ఎక్కడ పడుచున్నవో అతడు గమనించలేదు. అందువల్ల అతడు తెంచిన లతలలో దాదాపు అన్నీ ఆ రెండు కుండలములు బిగించబడిన అదే మృగచర్మంపైనే పడ్డవి।
