सौदास उवाच क्षमं चेदिह वक्तव्यं तव द्विजवरोत्तम । मत्समीपं द्विजश्रेष्ठ नागन्तव्यं कथंचन
Saudāsa uvāca: kṣamaṃ ced iha vaktavyaṃ tava dvijavarottama | matsamīpaṃ dvijaśreṣṭha nāgantavyaṃ kathaṃcana ||
సౌదాసుడు పలికెను—ఓ ద్విజవరోత్తమా! ఇక్కడ చెప్పుట నీకు సముచితమని అనిపించినయెడల, ఓ ద్విజశ్రేష్ఠా, ఏ విధముగానూ నా సమీపమునకు రాకూడదు।
