कं भवत्यै प्रयच्छामि गुर्वर्थ विनियुड्धक्ष्य माम्‌ । प्रियं हितं च काड्क्षामि प्राणैरपि धनैरपि

Transliteration

kaṃ bhavatyai prayacchāmi gurvarthaṃ viniyuddhakṣya mām | priyaṃ hitaṃ ca kāṅkṣāmi prāṇair api dhanair api ||

Translation

గౌతముడు అన్నాడు—“మాతాజీ! గురుదక్షిణగా నేను మీకు ఏమి సమర్పించాలి? నాకు ఆజ్ఞాపించండి. ప్రాణాలనిచ్చినా, సమస్త ధనాన్ని ఇచ్చినా, మీకు ప్రియమూ హితమూ అయినదే చేయాలని నేను కోరుతున్నాను.”
