पृथ्वी पञ्चगुणा ज्ञेया चरस्थावरसंकुला । सर्वभूतकरी देवी शुभाशुभनिदर्शिनी
pṛthvī pañcaguṇā jñeyā carasthāvarasaṅkulā | sarvabhūtakārī devī śubhāśubhanidarśinī ||
వాయువు పలికెను—భూమిని ఐదు గుణములతో యుక్తమని తెలుసుకొనుము. ఆమె దేవీ, చరాచర జీవులతో నిండినది; సమస్త భూతములకు జనని, శుభాశుభములను వెల్లడించునది.
