परेभ्यो न प्रतिग्राह्मूं न च देयं कदाचन । दैन्यभावाच्च भूतानां संविभज्य सदा बुध:,बुद्धिमान् संन्यासीको चाहिये कि दूसरोंके लिये भिक्षा न माँगे तथा सब प्राणियोंके लिये दयाभावसे संविभागपूर्वक कभी कुछ देनेकी इच्छा भी न करे
Transliteration
parebhyo na pratigrāhyaṃ na ca deyaṃ kadācana | dainyabhāvāc ca bhūtānāṃ saṃvibhajya sadā budhaḥ ||
Translation
వాయువు పలికెను—బుద్ధిమంతుడైన సన్యాసి ఇతరుల నుండి దానం స్వీకరించకూడదు; దానం చేయాలనే కోరికను కూడా ఎప్పుడూ పెట్టుకోకూడదు. అయితే దుఃఖిత ప్రాణులపై కరుణతో, తనకు వచ్చినదాన్ని ఎల్లప్పుడూ యథావిధిగా పంచిపెట్టాలి—స్వార్థం, ప్రదర్శన, ఆసక్తి లేకుండా।
