ओषधीनां पति: सोमो विष्णुर्बलवतां वर: । त्वष्टाधिराजो रूपाणां पशूनामीश्वर: शिव:,ओषधियोंके स्वामी सोम हैं तथा बलवानोंमें श्रेष्ठ विष्णु हैं। रूपोंके अधिपति सूर्य और पशुओंके ईश्वर भगवान् शिव हैं
oṣadhīnāṃ patiḥ somo viṣṇur balavatāṃ varaḥ | tvaṣṭādhirājo rūpāṇāṃ paśūnām īśvaraḥ śivaḥ ||
వాయువు పలికెను— ఔషధములకు అధిపతి సోముడు; బలవంతులలో శ్రేష్ఠుడు విష్ణువు. రూపములకు అధిరాజు త్వష్ట; పశువులకు ఈశ్వరుడు శివుడు.
