Discourse on Desire, Possessiveness, and Ritual Duty
बाह्यान्तराणां शत्रूणां स्वभाव॑ पश्य भारत | यज्ञ पश्यति तद् भूतं मुच्यते स महाभयात्,भारत! बाहरी और भीतरी शत्रुओंके स्वभावको देखिये-समझिये (ये मायामय होनेके कारण मभिथ्या हैं, ऐसा निश्चय कीजिये)। जो मायिक पदार्थोको ममत्वकी दृष्टिसे नहीं देखता, वह महान् भयसे छुटकारा पा जाता है
bāhyāntarāṇāṃ śatrūṇāṃ svabhāvaṃ paśya bhārata | yajñaḥ paśyati tad bhūtaṃ mucyate sa mahābhayāt ||
హే భారతా! బాహ్యమైనవీ అంతర్ముఖమైనవీ అయిన శత్రువుల స్వభావాన్ని గమనించి గ్రహించు. సృష్టమైన వాటిని ‘నాది’ అనే మమకార దృష్టి లేకుండా యథాతథంగా చూసేవాడు మహాభయము నుండి విముక్తుడవుతాడు.
