धृतराष्ट्रस्य पाण्डवेषु प्रीति-वृत्तान्तः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Affectionate Disposition toward the Pāṇḍavas

व्यायामश्नायमत्यर्थ कृतस्त्वामभियाचता । ततो ग्लानमनास्तात नष्टसंज्ञ इवाभवम्‌,तात! तुमसे अनुरोध करनेके लिये बोलते समय मुझे बड़ा भारी परिश्रम करना पड़ा है। अत: क्षीणशक्ति होकर मैं अचेत-सा हो गया था

Transliteration

vyāyāmaśnāyam atyarthaṃ kṛtas tvām abhiyācatā | tato glānamano 'smi tāta naṣṭasaṃjña iva abhavam ||

Translation

తాతా! నిన్ను వేడుకుంటూ మాట్లాడటంలోనే నాకు అత్యధిక శ్రమ పడింది. అందువల్ల మనస్సు అలసిపోయి, బలం క్షీణించి, నేను అచేతనుడైనట్లయ్యాను.
