Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्

यातुधान्युवाच समयेन बिसानीतो गृह्नीध्वं कामकारत: । एकैको नाम मे प्रोक्‍्त्वा ततो गृह्नीत माचिरम्‌,यातुधानीने कहा--ऋषियो! एक शर्तपर तुम इस सरोवरसे इच्छानुसार मृणाल ले सकते हो। एक-एक करके आओ और मुझे अपना नाम और तात्पर्य बताकर मृणाल ले लो। इसमें विलम्ब करनेकी आवश्यकता नहीं है

yātudhāny uvāca samayena bisānīto gṛhṇīdhvaṃ kāmakārataḥ | ekaiko nāma me proktvā tato gṛhṇīta mā ciram ||

యాతుధానీ చెప్పింది—“ఒక షరతుతో మీరు ఈ సరస్సు నుండి మీకు నచ్చినంత మృణాళం తీసుకోవచ్చు. కానీ ఒక్కొక్కరుగా రండి; ముందుగా మీ పేరు, మీ ఉద్దేశం నాకు చెప్పి, ఆ తరువాత తీసుకోండి—ఆలస్యం చేయకండి.”
