इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत अनुशासनपर्वके अन्तर्गत दानधर्मपर्वनें श्राद्धकल्पविषयक नवासीवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ ॥/ ८९ ॥। अपना बछ। अकाल नवतितमो< ध्याय: भ्राद्धमें ब्राह्मणोंकी परीक्षा
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | kīdṛśebhyaḥ pradātavyaṃ bhavec chrāddhaṃ pitāmaha | dvijebhyaḥ kuruśārdūla tan me vyākhyātum arhasi ||
యుధిష్ఠిరుడు పలికెను—పితామహా! ఏ విధమైన బ్రాహ్మణులకు శ్రాద్ధదానం (ఆహ్వానం) ఇవ్వవలెను? కురుశార్దూలా! దానిని నాకు స్పష్టంగా వివరించుము।
