Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa

Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results

जग्राहांगिरसं देव: शिखी तस्माद्भधुताशन: । तस्मादांगिरसा ज्ञेया: सर्व एव तदन्वया:

jagrāhāṅgirasaṃ devaḥ śikhī tasmād badhutāśanaḥ | tasmād āṅgirasā jñeyāḥ sarva eva tad-anvayāḥ ||

వసిష్ఠుడు పలికెను—జ్వాలాకిరీటధారి అగ్నిదేవుడు అంగిరసుని కుమారునిగా స్వీకరించెను; అందుచేత అంగిరస వంశజులందరూ అగ్నివంశీయులని, అలాగే ‘వారుణ’ అనే సంజ్ఞతో కూడ తెలిసికొనవలెను.
