वेदोपनिषदश्वैव सर्वकर्मसु दक्षिणा: । सर्वक्रतुषु चोद्दिष्टं भूमिगावो5थ काउचनम्,वेद और उपनिषदोंने भी प्रत्येक कर्ममें दक्षिणाका विधान किया है। सभी यज्ञोंमें भूमि, गौ और सुवर्णकी दक्षिणा बतायी गयी है
