Transliteration

śakra uvāca | kīdṛśā bhagavaṁl lokā gavāṁ tad brūhi me ’nagha | yān āvasanti dātāra etad icchāmi veditum, bhagavan ||

Translation

శక్రుడు (ఇంద్రుడు) అన్నాడు—భగవాన్! గోవుల లోకాలు ఎలాంటి‌వి? అనఘా! అది నాకు చెప్పండి. గోదానం చేసే దాతలు ఏ లోకాలలో నివసిస్తారో, వాటి విషయాన్ని నేను తెలుసుకోవాలని కోరుతున్నాను.
